Two-story residential loft space located in an old marine terminal building.  This project is to be part of an urban renewal initiative that seeks to restore pre-existing abandoned buildings to a habitable and sought after residency.  

The space is intended for the solitary being, such as a writer.  The space is articulated with simple planar forms, flat surfaces, and unassuming materials.  The writer is free to roam between and through the different levels and spaces, ultimately and hopefully allowing him a coherence for his imagination, reflection, and natural creative flow.
