This was a study between the duality of form and function.  The intent of this project was to create a piece of furniture using a multiple of materials.

This chair was created using birch veneer plywood and pipe cleaners.  Upon glance, the pipe cleaners appear to be inviting and playful, but when the chair is used for it's intention as a place to sit,  the pipe cleaners discourage any comfort at all.
