The viewing platform „Schauinsland“ is oriented on the one hand to the Ruhr University Bochum and the other to the nearby Kemnader lake. Through the existing trail on the property, the visitor is nearing and is now either the podium, which is geared to the university, or enter the Bridge platform, which is oriented to the lake.
The Platform is about 5 feet tall and commit a large, curved staircase.

The symbolic bridge of the water reservoir is set about 20 feet beyond the embankment beside the path, visitors will once again offer a large movement area to enjoy the surrounding nature.

The shape of the building blends in with the sweeping nature naturally into its surroundings and penetrates it with the material of Corten steel, which explores the history of the industrial Ruhr region. Similarly, the ground plan of the view relations are combined perfectly.
