Expo Pavillon for Milan 2015

Bachelorthesis project and National Competition, Egon Eiermann Preis 2011

World Fairs are places conscious exceptional conditions. Places that give a new dimension of perception.
This perception, experience, awareness has always been done at all Expos over the space and architecture:
    - in the presentation of a new urban vision
    - by building an imposing building on exposure
    - by pure representation
An Expo is always a showcase and testing ground for the architecture

My goal was to create an extroverted building, which remains the visitor in mind and combines innovation, progress and technology and aesthetics.
The „Pulse“ is to be an eye catcher and can benefit from his Significant entrance the visitor into the building.
In the interior, flowing through Germany can present and impressive rooms.

The concept for my design developed by the non-existence of conditions. The designleading restrictions were an area of 60m x 100m and a maximum height of 25m.
Due to the huge crowds who move through the building, I went for the directed Exhibitionway.
From the path is creating the rooms and the rooms defines the shape.
