Employment 

bcWORKSHOP, Dallas, TX, US, Community Design and Development Fellow

Designed and led a community-engaged design process for facilities for the Lincoln High School Entrepreneurial Culinary Arts Program, creating a conceptual design and renderings to support fundraising efforts. Facilitated a group of students, faculty, school district representatives, and community members over the course of five workshops to create an identity for the program.

Managed the Neighborhood Stories project, a series of exhibitions on the history of six Dallas neighborhoods funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. Led a team of eight designers, developed relationships with community leaders, curated exhibit content, managed budget and schedule.

Collaborated with the Executive Director to raise over $350,000 in funding from private foundations and government.

Managed the production of construction documents for the exterior building envelope of Decatur Central High School, creating a detailed building model to generate elevations, details, and cost estimates; involved in all aspects of the building envelope throughout design and construction including writing specifications and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.

Worked closely with project manager to develop design and documentation for classroom addition to Abe Lincoln Elementary School, including engineering coordination, building code analysis, and client presentations.

Produced renderings and construction documents for the Indiana State University Bayh College of Education, performed archival research and on-site assessment to uncover original features of building.
