About

As of May 2013, I received my Master's Degree in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University. This degree combines architecture, interior design, product design and furniture design creating a unique design experience. My degree is accredited by CIDA and NASAD.

My experience in school covers a large range of projects with an in-depth focus on interiors, exteriors, lighting, product design, furniture design, space-planning, interior and exterior material selection, tectonics, branding, and utilizing research to inform design. In addition to my coursework, I have been involved with various organizations and committees, studied abroad in Germany while soaking up as much knowledge and culture as I could, and I even spent 2 weeks in Romania on a course involving traditional building skills using various mortars and techniques. It has been quite an adventure, but I'm ready for the real learning to begin.

I am actively looking for an entry level position to advance my current knowledge with a special interest in historic preservation, reuse, public interest design, destination design, and entertainment design, but I am open to every new experience I encounter.
