Ebb & Flow-Jazz Club Redevelopment Project (Thesis)

Historic buildings have always been a passion of mine.  They have so much to offer in the way of informing us of our history and they way people used to live in the US.  For my thesis project, I took an abandoned building located on the outer edges of the 18th & Vine Jazz District in Kansas City, Missouri and designed a jazz club that embraces the essence of Kansas City Jazz.  The basic structure was maintained in the design including the decorative brickwork of the original 1890 structure.
