About

I am passionate about design and am constantly searching for opportunities to learn and improve my physical and theoretical abilities within the field. I feel that my determination and dedication to work, as well as my enthusiasm to learn are my strongest attributes within this profession. I enjoy both developing and progressing with the new technologies available in the architectural profession while not forgetting the fundamentals. My interests in architecture are inspired by space, light, shadow, details, craft, and relationships. I believe a successful building is one that is pure and one that evokes emotion.

While pursuing my studies at Temple University, I was fortunate to work and learn from the architecture program’s esteemed faculty.  Beyond the conventional classroom, I have had numerous opportunities to apply my abilities within the professional setting.  In the summer of 2008, I participated in a design/build research project in Mumbai, India, where we worked collectively with D. Y. Patil University, and two nonprofit organizations, analyzing existing schools located on construction sites and their functionality within this environment.  The following spring I traveled to Rome, Italy, where I studied architecture at the epicenter of its origin.  Upon completing this term, I was recruited by a faculty member to work for his firm located near Naples, where I designed a structural glass vestibule entrance and interior lighting for the Ruspoli Palazzo restoration in Cerveteri, Italy. I have also participated in extracurricular professional opportunities closer to home, working at Jibe Design, Interface Studio Architects and A.K. Architecture in Philadelphia.
