Milano - Rugnon is an architectural firm established in Madrid in 2007.
The practice has won numerous competitions and is currently working on projects in Spain and Argentina. Founded by two architects Lucia Maria Rugnon and Marcos Javier Milano. Both architects graduated in argentina in the North-eastern university between 1996-1997)
Javier studied a Master Degree in business administration for Real state and construction companies finishing in 2000.
Lucia did a Master degree in Architectural design at the Columbia University (New York) 2000 supported by a Fulbright scholarship. As we have different but complementary backgrounds, our strength is that we can focus in different aspects of the Project in other to reach the global understanding of it.
We are concerned with all things architecture engage in the broadest sense, be it urban or interior design, cultural, commercial buildings, or sociological matters. We work opening the process and challenging the conventional to create outstanding architecture, better places to live and work, and greater value for the built environment.
Each circumstance, each Project is an interaction between experience, knowledge and the possibility to re-invent the standart. It is a process, an evolution, in which every part fuse and complete in a new, unknown and accurate replay
Our goal is to meet the client’s expectations, for him to feel reflect in all aspects: aesthetics, functional, the budget and the schedule.

Columbia University, New York, NY, US, MArch, Master of Science degree in Advanced Architectural Design

The program is three terms in length, and students learn to create both physical and digital architecture. This master's program emphasizes both design and research in various areas of architecture. Lecture courses on contemporary and historical design are exclusive to the course.
