My name is Pat Laurel. I have been in the Graphic Design industry for more than 14 years. My first 12 years were spent primarily in print and website work. In 2007 I entered the Television Production program at Brown College. Graduating in 2010, I have since been shooting and editing videos as well as my usual print duties.

I have worked at Visit Saint Paul for more than 11 years as the sole designer. Being the only graphics person has allowed me to become a well-rounded designer. Instead of focusing on one aspect of the industry, I have been able to diversify my skills into web and video. Working in my position I have had the opportunity to continue to learn new techniques and continue to keep up with the current design/graphics software.

In my time with Visit Saint Paul I have had the opportunity to be part of the process in bringing in and hosting some large scale events to Saint Paul. Some of these events include the WCHA Final Five 2001-2012, 2011 NCAA Frozen Four and College Fan Fest, 2011 VISA Championships, 2008 US figure Skating Championships (currently bidding on 2014) and last but certainly not least the 2008 Republican National Convention.

My goal is to continue to grow and diversify my skills in the graphic design and video field.
