Marques Fallejo

Burbank, CA, US

I am currently a Themed Entertainment Designer working on projects ranging from stage designs to themed attractions for major theme park companies.

My interest in architecture dates back to my years in junior high school fantasizing about designing
roller coasters. The roller coaster designing spawned a design interest gravitating toward architecture during my high school career.

When I transferred to Woodbury University’s School of Architecture, it allowed me to study in Tahiti, China, Barcelona, and Berlin. I have an interest in creating spaces inspired by the manipulations of everyday materials and producing the architecture with prefabricated parts to fuse innovative design concepts with the reality of building materials.

I am hoping that within my career, I can make a difference in the Themed Entertainment Industry with my personal interests and my design challenges.

Studio Z, Van Nuys, CA, US, Production Designer

I currently am responsible for 3D modeling and CAD drawings. I assist the Show Set Designer / Attraction Designer by producing Schematic and Concept Packages for vendors. Working here, I have been able to learn more about the construction process as well as be more involved with the production of mock-ups and having input about set designs and details.
