I just got my Master Degree of Architecture from USC. I’m looking for an entry-level or similar position for new grads. I’m a Chinese, but authorized to work at US right now. Therefore I can start working any time. If you don’t have any vacancy, I would consider working as an intern.
With my background in architecture design, I am confident that I would make a very successful and creative worker. My education in architecture department at USC has allowed me to learn more about design progress rather than interesting shape. I think more. How it makes and why it makes are more interesting to me. I paid more attention on logic behind shape and architectural argument. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t have any practical experience. Actually I took two internships before. One was in KlingStubbins during last summer. I helped in designing commercial zoning and deluxe villa larger than 1500m2 per unit. If in KlingStubbins is a practical trial, worked at MAD in China was my idealism attempt. I have been exposed to a number of aspects of design works as well as art exhibition. Apart from that I also got LEED GA certified. My experience as an intern at MAD demonstrates my capability of working with others through the creative process of production while meeting the challenges presented to me. I think the prior work experience with my current research in USC will suit your needs for that position.
I’m very good at Maya, Rhino, 3D Max, Sketch up, Auto CAD, Adobe Photoshop, In Design, and Premiere, MS Office Suite, Light room, and also familiar with Grasshopper. I know Revit and its basic functions as well as Maya scripting.
