Served as exterior façade coordinator for my final project at AAI - a new high-profile mixed-use commercial tower on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. Led the building enclosure effort from Design Development phase through Construction Documents phase to Design Assist, featuring a high performance double-skin curtainwall. The project was filed for Zone Green and targeting LEED Platinum.

• Administered project documentations in all phases of design.
• Collaborated with façade and BMU consultants to develop details and specifications for exterior walls.
• Coordinated with engineers for proper integration of structural and MEP systems. Endeavored to safe guard design intent.
• Coordinated with local architect to ensure building, zoning and other local codes were met. Liaised with the design team to maintain balance between design ambition and life/safety/functional requirements.
• Aligned design objective with allied disciplines including lighting, signage, landscape designers.
• Participated in exterior wall tenders review.
• Participated in construction administration, including submittals review, site reports, RFI responses.
• A team leader with sensibility to individual's skills and interests, advocated ownership mindset and meritocracy, offered growth opportunities and mentorship.
• Projects include a 2 million square foot airport in Nanning, a 345 meter tall office tower in Shenyang, a master plan in Donjiadu consisting of a podium and eleven buildings including a 300 meter tall mixed-use tower.

• Researched project parameters including programs, codes, and site.
• Produced conceptual and detailed design studies, aided by 3D modeling, rendering and printing.
• Researched and sourced materials including glass, stones and metal finishes.
• Produced presentation materials, coordinated professional models, renderings and animations.
• Produced drawings for all phases of design.
• Participated in design and technical coordination.
• Projects include a 350 meter tall office tower in Kunming, a 1,500 foot tall mixed-use tower in Philadelphia.

Allen + Killcoyne Architects, New York, NY, US, Project Architect (Interior)

• Delivered several interior projects in Manhattan single-handedly from conceptual design to contract administration, conducted field survey at inception, coordinated with expeditor to file and pull permits.
• A project involved converting portion of a basement of an apartment building into a private fitness center furnished with commercial gym equipment. Another project was a clothing store design furnished with custom millwork.
