• Work with architect Friedrich St. Florian on the entry for an international competition– “Iceland Trekking Cabin”, from idea to concrete architectural proposal. Fully engaged in background research, design strategy, concept design, resolving the architectural program through plan, section, elevation, rhino model and analog model.
• Invent an effective skin-folding mechanism that allows for the cabin to fold and unfold from a footprint of 16 square meters to 100 square meters through mathematical analysis and analog modeling.

• Be on of a 7 people team in the Central Park Design project of Wuxing District, Huzhou, China.
• Site visit. Site analysis. In charge of the schematic design and design development of Painting and Calligraphy area. Assist in the client meeting and presentation.
• The construction of the project was completed in 2016.

Initiate and conduct research: “Pattern Language of China’s Vernacular Architecture.” Investigate two UNESCO sites in China: Ancient City of Ping Yao in Shanxi and Potala Palace in Tibetan. Methods: anthropology fieldwork, drawing, reading and writing.
