As an architect, I believe that from day one, how we as people are shaped is determined almost entirely by our environment. A place of residence is one thing. But to be able to call a place "home" is something else entirely. Its surroundings makes a big difference in this distinction. Context is absolute.

As a recent graduate of the the the Illinois Institute of Technology's college of Architecture, I plan to use the skills that I've acquired to better such places which lack community and neighborhood through architecture.


Habitat for Humanity, Chicago, IL, US, Intern

• Assisted the chair of Habitat’s Site Selection Committee preparing:
◦ Site model
◦ Research on working affordable homes and on housing typologies
typically seen in West Pullman
• Engaged in on-site work assisting leaders in constructing affordable homes
• Performed in-person mapping of the site and its surroundings
• Part of a site design taskforce designing new single and multi-family
homes for the West Pullman neighborhood
