About

I am a motivated designer who loves working within a collaborative environment.  I hold 5 years of work experience within an architectural office (Intern Architect & Project Management) along with my previous employment as a graphic designer.  While developing project management experience in the Canadian arctic I was also building a tiny off-grid floating home.  As you can see in my portfolio, my most successful project was an office building I designed from concept to substantial completion in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.  Managing projects remotely has been a significantly rewarding challenge in maintaining design intent throughout the construction administration process.  The challenges of remote cold-climate design have been a worthwhile learning tool for me & I am eager to develop new skills in a different environment.  While living in Yellowknife, NT I sat on the NWTAA board along with a local artist-run community centre (YKARCC) board and spearheaded a screen printing society.  As a designer, printed matter & the ceramic arts are two major interests of mine & mediums I continue to explore along side my architecture career.  It is my goal to work with designers I respect that will challenge me to develop better work in theory & practice.

I can send you a full PDF of my CV & portfolio upon request.  References also available.
