About 

Architect and structural engineer, graduated magna cum laude in 2011, with five years professional experience in multi-million dollar projects, demonstrating enthusiasm, creativity and initiative. Considered an overachiever by peers. Was promoted after just one-and-a-half year to project architect, becoming the youngest P.A. ever in a three-generations firm.

Laureate of three high-profile architectural contests, proving creative and artistic ability. Experienced in the planning, design and construction of diverse projects such as institutional, recreational, commercial, parking, (student)housing, hospitality, and offices. Project architect of several remarkable buildings during their  construction phase, most notably the Ghelamco Arena.

A considerate team player with a witty sense of humor. Has the ability to contribute expertise and follow leadership directives at appropriate times. Took the initiative to redesign the offices’ CAD systems, drastically improving efficiency and drawing quality. Grand Prix Award by Saint-Gobain Gypsum, 1st Place

The Ghelamco Arena project received the 2014 Grand Prix Award during the 9th Saint-Gobain Gypsum International Trophy Awards held in Berlin, Germany.

Stadium of the year 2013, 1st Place

Participants from 105 countries elected the Ghelamco Arena as “Stadium of the Year 2013” through one of the world’s largest websites for football lovers: StadiumDB.com. The Ghelamco Arena won convincingly before the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, the Husky Stadium in Seattle and Maracaña in Rio de Janeiro. The Ghelamco Project was confronted with strong competition: 6 Brazilian stadiums, built for the FIFA world championships, were found among the 18 nominated new stadiums of 2013.

Interiors Award - sports category presented by Contract Magazine, 1st Place

Pushing the idea of fabrication, the designers took the branding of the soccer team and introduced progressive architecture that engages the soccer fans. It looks like soccer heaven." In collaboration with Mac Stopa from Massive Design.

BBBC Laureate, Other

The BBBC (Building Back Better Communities) was an international request for proposals by the Haitian government for the reconstruction of Port au Prince after the devastating earthquake in January 2010. In collaboration with professor Steven Van Dessel (University of Ghent).
