Employment

Doug Bartley, Arlington, WA, US, Assistant Contractor

I worked for an independent contractor who took on a variety of small scale projects which exposed me to many types of design principles. I was placed in charge of the acquisition of materials and basic demolition/construction. The projects mainly consisted of pouring concrete for walkways, foundations, and as the base for putting up fences. The larger scale projects consisted of tearing down a wall and creating an entire addition to a house including the plumbing, electricity, framing etc.
