I worked for an independent contractor who took on a variety of small scale projects which exposed me to many types of design principles. The projects mainly consisted of pouring concrete for walkways, foundations, and as the base for putting up fences. The larger scale projects consisted of tearing down a wall and creating an entire addition to a house including the plumbing, electricity, framing etc.
