New York, NY
A very outdated galley kitchen in a prewar apartment on the Upper West Side of Manhattan was demolished to make way for this state-of-the-art kitchen and breakfast area with custom-fabricated walnut cabinetry. The countertops and backsplash are Calacatta marble and the floors are porcelain. Behind the sink is a custom "appliance garage" in which all the small appliances (coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc.) are stored. The gas range, hood and microwave drawer are all by Viking. The fully integrated refrigerator with custom walnut doors is by Liebherr.
