The Milford Sound is a nine mile inlet of water leading from the Pacific Ocean. It is surrounded completely by mountains raging in heights from two to four thousand feet and the home to some of the worlds most spectacular views. It is visited each year by a little over 600 thousand tourists, each traveling several hours to visit what is seen as the 8th wonder of the world only to find no place for lodging. My proposed project would tackle this challenge in a unique way. The hotel and community square would be separated throughout the mountainous terrain.
