China Hall is Chicago’s Field Museum’s newest, permanent gallery. Stretching more than 6,000 sf, the exhibition houses the museums extensive collection of more than 400 Chinese artifacts that have never been on display. The collection represents thousands of years of Chinese History from Neolithic hunter gatherer times through Contemporary meditative practices. It is the first exhibition for the museum to build interactive touch screen displays into the cases where visitors can learn extensively about each artifact on display.
