The Heat Theater is an immersive experience developed for The Field Museum as part of a traveling exhibition. Visitors will experience extreme changes of hot and cold environments through the use of lighting effects and large screen displays. The theater structure was designed to be digitally fabricated allowing easy replacement of broken or damaged parts. The Temperature Theater won the MUSE award for Multimedia Installations at the American Alliance of Museums Conference in 2015.
