Barwa New Cairo is a new, twenty year development located 30 km west of Cairo’s city limits. The project is one of many new cities popping up around Cairo’s periphery to alleviate over-population and create better living conditions. This is a conceptual study identifying distinct residential communities based on the facade treatments. The client asked for new and unique structures never before seen in Egypt. This process included extensive research on the current market in Egypt, familiarization with the master plan and facade treatments.
