The newest batch of Best Tall Building Award of Excellence winners has been announced by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat as part of the organization’s 2022 awards program.
The winning entries were assessed within five separate height thresholds: the first under 100 meters, the second 100–199 meters, the third 200–299 meters, the fourth 300–399 meters, and finally, the fifth, which is for buildings 400 meters and above. Additionally, awards were given in the four functions categories: Office, Mixed-Use, Single-Site, and Residential/Hotel.
The awards recognize extraordinary contributions to the advancement of tall buildings and the urban landscape. The winners will now move on to compete for the title of Overall Best Tall Building Worldwide, which will be announced during the 2022 CTBUH International Conference, which takes place in Chicago from November 9th to the 12th.
Thirty-one buildings, including Dubai’s new Museum of the Future and KPF’s One Vanderbilt, made the list for 2022. Keep reading for a complete list of this year’s winners.
