Recognizing the works of professionals and students across the globe, the APR has honored this year's outstanding designs with the 2018 Urban Design & Architecture Design Awards. From a repurposed water tower to a transformed pedestrian zone and shopping area, this year's proposals and projects respond to under-utilized urban space, self-driving technologies, environmental challenges and more. Submissions are assessed across a range of categories, from 'Pop-Ups & Temporary' and 'Art & Craft,' to 'Mixed-Use' and 'Housing,' and are selected by a jury comprised of esteemed practitioners and educators.
