Well geez the new gen sound pretty boring: not interested in being stars, not interested in the future (but are interested in 'white walls and a shadow gap, or a thick pediment'), they're 'deliberately eschew[ing] what might be called the wow factor', and very proud of making the 'project space and office furniture [all out of] the same plywood.'
Has the recession pendulum swung too far? Where's the joy?
