i remember that these 4 were already listed. were their more in the last announcement? or is this just a repackaging of the same short-list.
anyway, kieran/timberlake are still my vote. forget the prefab, they've done some exquisite institutional work. and we have an archinect friend there. go ether!
yeah, I'm all for Kieran/Timberlake. A distant second in my mind is Morphosis--good stuff, but just not my taste as much, though I wonder would this commission cement them as the new government building darlings?
SW- The previous news post was for the previous selection round (back in February, I think, and at that point it was around 8 or 10 firms). The four firms listed will be the only ones included in the "design" portion of the selection process. This process will last through November if I'm not mistaken and at which time one firm will be selected.
Thanks for the well wishes, folks. We are excited to say the least!

i imagine that's not feasable due to security reasons, but an interesting proposition...
Yeah it would have to be some sort of pre-fab turned bunker considering the way we build our embassies now.

"cement them as the new government building darlings"
i dunno, i think they already accomplished this a while ago. they've built 4 major gov't projects most firms would kill to have 1.
