I know I have been on a Dutch rag as of late, but where else can you buy postage stamps that honor not just architects, but architecture, and not just timeworn monuments, but experimental work that has not even been built? As a kicker, the stamps are designed so that, if you hold them up to a Web cam, they turn into 3D models floating in front of your screen. — Aaron Betsky, Architect Magazine

Aaron, You need to do some research before you make sweeping generalizations online.
Australia Post had a stamp series on modern architecture in 2007.

There was also a stamp featuring our Mint Building in Sydney in 1973. Not sure if t was part of a series.

Australia Post has been pretty innovative with stamp design and marketing since about 1970. Their latest idea is Australian native flowers on stamps, but enhanced with a scratch and sniff concept, so you can smell the authentic perfume of one of the stamps in that series.
