If I remember right, the yellow rounded balconies are borrowed from fiberglass surfboard construction, Moss's allusion or nod to surfing.
I don't know if it is just me but there is also a little nod to Sant'Elia from the master of gesture... the original version is much better than the broker's jazzed up version with glass railings, colors, dismantled awning structures, etc., on the real estate page. I like the thoughtful Ziggurat like section creating series of deck spaces and space around the interiors in this type of climate and locale. It is one of EOM's best projects.
