I went to Vienna earlier this year, and it’s extremely charming and deeply concerned with coffee and cake, both of which I appreciate. But I confess that as I wandered the streets, looking up at graceful churches and palaces, I often thought “what a shame it is that none of these buildings look like a nightmare structure of bare twigs and spider egg sacs.” — Grist.org

send the cg modeller (can't call them architects) to a mental hospital! xD
is it a paper architecture type of project or a serious proposal?
I don't think this should be tagged as biomimicry just because it looks kind of like something from nature maybe.
It's not all that weird for Vienna.
Much of the decor at Prater amusement park in Vienna might be described as H. R. Giger's dreams interpreted by the criminally insane... who are also subjected to experimental psychoactive drug experiments, and have little formal training in sculpture. [It's pretty awesome.]
when your render skills are better than your modeling skills.
Very fun proposal. However, I think it lacks incorporation into the existing context at a sophisticated level. Please do not design the benches like that. Instead try to incorporate the same sophistication of the tower into the horizontal train platforms to continue to overtake the rather regular contextual elements. A spider's home has no limits!
