Heralded as "Architecture Against Death", these dwelling units for elderly are designed to challenge and stimulate their senses physically with anything but comfortable and serene with uneven floors, small doors and bright colors. Designed by Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins, this creative duo have designed an unusual apartment block based in Mitaka, a suburb of Tokyo. Architects' Website | Boing Boing
