glad to see someone writing about the link between trayvon's murder and gated communities. i think that this discussion really needs to take place not just among architects and planners, but the public as well. i was browsing the area in google earth the other day and was amazed at the proliferation of these walled developments, something i'm not too familiar with here in ohio.
