eric while the point re: influence of medium is certainly true i do find myself coming around to post-modernism more lately.
Not as much for the satirical irony which i used to think was the key. More for the flatness of it.

Flat is cool, as in detached. Flatness, I think, gives you more control in language and that may be the allure.
