The electronic devices are solar powered led luminaries. It was the solution chosen to avoid cables. The system detects dusk and each lamp is programmed to turn on 17 hours after detecting it (I think). Of course the solar panels charge the battery during the daytime. I will be uploading some nite time shots soon. However take into consideration that only about 25% of the lamps were installed at the time I took the photos and that I used a really long exposure so the photos will loook way brighter than how it really is. I felt that the light was very low but after your eye adapts to those levels is quite nice its like moonlight, but I guess this will change as more luminaries are installed.
TED you are right about the details, In this sense I think that the Toyo Ito pavilion has been the more succesful because there were no details. For me the interior finish is way better than the exterior.

The pavilion opens next tuesday 28th. It is a private view though. It will stay open until the end of september
