whoa... this is like.. if Per stopped wasting his time on the net and started to build something already.. what is this? laminated wood? .. the steel supports have a nice 19th century touch.
overall it looks like one of those cardboard scale models we did at school ... bring back Niemeyer's and Ito's previous pavilions, this one looks like rebuilding a Nervi or a Candela dome with wood..
Hi
It seem to be a puzzle sort of cardboard ,for sure _no_ 3D-H ---- it's like avoiding the only efficient way like a cramped wanting to prove something that seem, underway to have lost it's meaning.
Sorry but it make me feel like a scandinavian boatsbuilder stunned about Bolger plybox skiff designs from the 40' and 50' popular mechanics .
Wow - I'm stunned. What a beautiful project, seemingly quite simple, under further study it becomes both very complex and still true to a simple notion of constructibility. Wow.
The photographs are so lovingly taken. Some might say "obsessive materials fetish", some might even say "construction porn" but I prefer love.
