The fifth cycle of Exhibit Columbus will center on the theme ‘Yes And,’ a technique for “affirming and building upon an idea to create a shared narrative” loaned from improvisational theater methods and aimed at spurring “existing material to shape positive change.”
“Through a cycle of events, Exhibit Columbus will encourage the public to collaborate in the creation of the ongoing performance of the city. Whether we’re recovering architectural remnants, reflecting on cultural legacy, staging a dramatic spectacle, or reimagining public play, Yes And invites everybody to the public spaces of Columbus to expand what forms of togetherness and collaboration are possible,” a press announcement elaborates.
The first chance to engage with this year’s curatorial team will come in October, when the program will stage a special two-day symposium (October 24th and 25th) in downtown Columbus. The full list of participating sites and exhibitors will be presented there. The 2025 Exhibit Columbus Exhibition officially kicks off next August 15th.

I love Yes And as a theme.
Feeling optimistic about things again feels good!
