No shit. This is what happens when construction of luxury condos goes on unabated while everything else has stopped.
Or one could argue that construction workers have the strongest immune system.
or that they're most likely to ignore mask recommendations.
Serious question: construction work like I've been involved in lately happens in existing buildings with no operational HVAC. Is this a fresh air issue (in addition to mask wearing, yes, but where I've been recently mask-wearing is pretty high)?
The ONLY cases I'm aware of that I'd have any connection to, have been four construction workers. I don't know a single other person who's been diagnosed. This doesn't surprise me.
I know two construction workers who got it recently. There are a lot of people that want to get the virus because they believe they will become immune. I think they are in that camp.
From where could they have gotten that idea?
From their cult leader.
If you get it, you are likely immune.
For at least a year or so. There have only been a handful of reinfections and they are usually people who have immune system problems from what I’ve read.
Since the USA leadership failed to implement an effective way for construction businesses to temporarily shut down without going bankrupt, these people pretty much had no choice but to continue working and get sick.
