Really love his (and jeanne claude's) work. Even more impressive is that they self funded every project. He will be missed.
One of the biggest happy events of my life was driving through the Running Fence as it crossed US 101 just north of Penngrove CA.
Well, I consider some of his work defamation of existing great works of art and a complete waste of materials and embodied energy. Then again, some of his works make a "large" statement--political and otherwise.
