London-based Child Studio, led by Che Huang and Alexy Kos, has designed a contemplative oases in an imaginary project spurred by our current "lockdown world." The conceptual project explores ideas of wellness, escapism, and connection with nature through a series of curated images showing key moments within the imagined architecture.
Named "Casa Plenaire," the cottage-style environment's name Plenaire means "in the open air," a term meant to address the quarantined nature of much of the world during the coronavirus pandemic. The space has plenty of windows, providing seamless connectivity to the outdoor landscape.
Inside, one notices the sculptural structure and the organically defined zones of the lounge, terrace, bedroom, and circular pool. "The project was an opportunity for us to explore new ideas and test new concepts for the post-lockdown world. The seaside location is a collage of memories, dreams, and visual references, for the period when travel has become unattainable," said the designers in a statement.

and this 'imaginary' exercise in photorealistic rendering deserves publication because.....????
Don't be surprised when you are flooded with 'imaginary' projects by second year architecture students seeking publicity....
The Pre-School which my daughter owns, directs, in Arlington, VA, also runs a Day Camp for Toddlers during the summer. Since they will be required to remain indoors during the sessions this year, how about some interior design concepts to inspire and console these little ones and their leaders?
The idea is that you spend your time bathing, showering, sleeping, and reading while you waste away; unable to cook due to the kitchen being eliminated for budgetary reasons and unable to have food delivered because UberEats, the last remaining delivery service, pulled out of the market.
