The University of Michigan Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning's Winter '19 lecture series kicks off today with the “Institutionalizing Equity: Radically Restructuring Opportunity in Detroit” symposium. Upcoming speakers this month include Eyal Weizman, Mabel O. Wilson, and Amanda Williams + Andres L. Hernandez.
A few other events include the “Architecture Camp!” panel featuring Laurel Broughton and Andrés Jaque, and Carlo Ratti will give the keynote at the “Building Better Futures: Innovations in Equitable Development” conference. Then in March and April, David Adjaye, Sou Fujimoto, and Shohei Shigematsu will give lectures.
