Today, RIBA announced the 2018 cohort of RIBA Fellows, who will serve as “ambassadors for architecture”, says RIBA President Ben Derbyshire. The 15 elected RIBA Chartered Members were commended for their significant contributions to the architecture profession.
Current UK or International RIBA Chartered Members are eligible to apply for RIBA Fellow membership if they also meet at least three of the RIBA's requirements, which include: Receiving an honor or award for significant contribution to architecture; Demonstrating leadership in advancing architectural education, research, or technology; and/or leading or playing a proactive role in a project that created positive social and environmental impact — to name a few.
