Architecture and Design will be the highlight of Ceramics, Portugal Does It Better presence at 100% Design, in London.The Portuguese Association of Ceramic and Domestic Glass Industries (APICER) invited the AZ AWARD (2016) and ArchDaily award winner (2017), the architect Luís Pedro Silva, to participate at the 100% Talks, 20th September, 14.45pm at Kensington Olympia. Among other architects, Luis Pedro Silva will be at “Building for Everyone” panel dedicated to discuss approaches to create buildings for the general public - from social housing to large scale public projects. The Portuguese architect will talk about the symbiosis and the challenges between Architecture and Ceramics concerning the building Porto Cruise Terminal - Heritage, Design and Innovation.
The presence in this reference fair in UK is a commitment of the APICER’s Ceramics, Portugal Does It Better action to promote the Sector and subsectors of Portuguese ceramics and domestic glass. For the event, the Association will bring and present design pieces of some of its members, awarded with international awards, and will officially present its latest editorial project, "Portuguese Ceramics - Tradition and Innovation", a display case of what Portuguese ceramics has to offer at international markets.
