As any design enthusiast would know, Chicago has an infamously rich architectural history that is celebrated to this day. And it's about time that Archinect and Bustler finally started featuring a list of architectural events in the Windy City. We're excited to present our first list of Chicago architecture and design event picks, specially selected by architects Holden Scully and Carl Sergio from Gensler's Chicago office.

Can we move all these events-listing articles out of News and into their own section on the site?
This article is more news-worthy than the sponsored content that occasionally graces the "news" feed. However, I agree that the site already has a section for events, http://archinect.com/events ... not sure why it needs to be posted as news.
i personally like them in the news. i often forget to visit the events section or don't have the time to sort through all the bustler events, so getting a brief weekly recommendation for each city in the news is very handy.
