Whatever canvas he is given, whether it's a highly constrained urban lot or a sweeping New Mexico landscape, Tadao Ando rarely falters. Cerro Pelon Ranch, the two compounds he designed for former architectural student turned fashion maven/filmmaker Tom Ford, is no exception.
Enormous, horizon-hugging curved concrete walls ripple out from the primary rectilinear residence, engaging the surrounding terrain while creating a boundary for the enormous pools adjacent to the house.
The ranch, with construction oversight provided by Marmol Radziner, is currently on the market for $75 million.
What else is Tadao Ando up to?

Am I the only one who finds Santa Fe to be sad, very very sad?
Yes, but it's the entire state of New Mexico, not just SF.
