In this video that blends time lapse and slow-motion techniques to fully showcase the visual splendor of the building, director Heidi Zuckerman of the The Aspen Art Museum speaks about how the "modesty" of Shigeru Ban's signature preferred materials perfectly suited the Colorado-based institution, while Shigeru Ban explains, among other things, how he carefully designed the visitor entrance to feature a mountain view.

I should really go check out this building this summer...
Also, I find his use of contextual with regards to how he went about designing the project very interesting. Seems to be saying that he made it contextual by; opening up to, referencing and highlighting (via use of glass and transparency) the geographical/natural context, of Aspen. As to some more direct mimicking of "local architecture".
