cute article. more (unintended) humor than i usually associate with the nyt.
There's just GOT to be some middle ground between Zaha and hiring the local nostalgia-schlock firm when it comes to civic buildings. I adore Zaha and respect the hell out of her work, but this project doesn't look particularly good.
Who is doing critical, high-quality and challenging work, work that advances our profession, that doesn't frighten away the average resident knitter?!
