This is a great list. And when I see descriptions of educators like this I wonder, as I always do, about so many accusations of "ivory tower academics" that are somehow driving the profession into archispeaky irrelevance. I don't know everyone on this list but most of them are practitioners, are researching practical applications, and/or are being praised for connecting strongly and helpfully with their students.
