Stephanie K Clark builds homes from swatches of cloth and spools of thread, embroidering tiny dwellings which appear to absorb the sun and moonlight from her small-scale scenes. The structures and their surrounding landscaping appear in vibrant colors while supporting and environment-specific trees, cacti, flamingos, and dogs lay nearby in faint black outlines. — thisiscolossal.com

Oh my god. Lusting for. LUSTing. But they're all sold! Ugh.....
Those are fun. I really like Do Ho Suh's work.
I'd like to think, out of countless things embroidery is something future humans will look at as we are looking at ancient Egyptian writing. That way I am very appreciative of it. Stephanie K Clark's work has that quality about it. More of a subject.
I saw Do Ho Suh installation in LA. The experience of it was more of a sculptural one and more about beauty and the beauty of drafting architecture. Its highly crafted obsession is exciting for the viewer and even more so if you appreciate architectural plans, sections, and elevations. More of an object.
