Nam, thank you for finding this! Sean Starowitz is a leading artist/social practitioner and such an inspiring person.
On the Archinect podcast on the demolition of the Folk Art Museum I made the comment that the most interesting art these days is very obviously *not* happening in the clean white box gallery spaces with which DSR plans to replace the now-demolished Folk Art Museum. Sean's work is foremost in my mind when I ponder the best art work happening right now.
Hey Donna my pleasure. I also find it very interesting work. Quilian is actually the first person to tune me into relational aesthetics and social practice as art, back when he was at GSD.
As a side note, i couldn't remember for sure, but originally I though you had actually pointed me to this link. But after going back through various feeds couldn't identify whomever it was for the h/t...
